"I had followed Lisa and Kent’s projects on Instagram for a while and was already a fan of their work. So naturally when they announced they had started a design business, Miljo, my interest was instantly piqued. Why? Well we have what is basically a shed with plumbing sitting in a rainforest on our property. It’s not much to look at, but I had a vision for what it could be. However, despite feeling clear, conveying my vision to other people, including my husband and tradespeople, wasn’t so easy.
Enter Miljo. I messaged Lisa and the process from that point could not have been easier. We made a time to chat. I sent some photos, pinboard references, measurements and a basic sketch of what I thought I wanted. And when I say “sketch”, we’re talking something a five year old could knock up!
